Reid Kennedy is not from Atlanta. He is not from out of state. He grew up in Cobb County.
He attended Kell High School in Marietta. He earned his B.A. from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where he studied abroad in Granada, Spain and became proficient in Spanish. He returned to Georgia and earned his J.D. from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, where he was active in the Criminal Law Society and gained firsthand legislative experience as an aide under the Gold Dome at the Georgia State Capitol.
Reid has been licensed to practice law in Georgia since 2020. He handles criminal defense matters with Moore Law Center.

Working Alongside a Former Judge and Prosecutor
Reid practices alongside Gerald E. Moore, a former Cobb County magistrate judge and former Cobb County assistant district attorney with nearly 30 years of legal experience. That mentorship and partnership means every case at Moore Law Center benefits from Gerald's judicial and prosecutorial insight, combined with Reid's preparation and client-focused advocacy.
Together, they handle the full range of practice areas including DUI defense, felony charges, misdemeanor charges, drug offenses, bond hearings, and probation violations.
Off the Clock
Reid is a student of American history, particularly the lives and leadership of U.S. presidents. He draws from that study a reverence for constitutional principles and the rule of law. When he is not in court, he is cheering on the Atlanta Braves. Preparation, teamwork, and playing the long game. Those are the principles he applies to both baseball and the law.
